Hello and thank you for visiting my classroom website! My name is Ms. Larson, your 8th grade English Language Arts teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. I am so excited to be here with you at Athlos.

This will be my eighth year teaching Language Arts to middle school students. I've always been passionate about reading, writing, and learning, so it is only fitting that I became a teacher. I went to high school in east central Minnesota and continued my education to get an Associate of Arts degree from Century College, a Bachelor of Arts in English from St. Catherine University, and a Master of Arts in Secondary Education from St. Catherine University. So, needless to say, I've been in school for a LONG time! 

I live just north of the Twin Cities with my my son, my partner, and our two cats. We also have a sweet angel girl watching over us. My hobbies include reading, gardening, shopping, cross-stitch, and stickers.

I look forward to getting to know your families over the next year as our 8th-grade scholars excel in academics, fitness, and character!
