Hello my name is Ms. Maggie Leif and I am extremely excited to have your child in my class. I am originally from Austin, Minnesota, also known as Spam Town, USA. I graduated from Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minnesota with an Elementary Education degree, a Pre-primary Endorsement, and a coaching certificate. I love working with young children and I have always wanted to be a teacher. I have had experience working in the classroom all throughout my four years in college in different ways. I did my student teaching abroad in Italy. I also had the experience of working with young children at a summer camp in New York for three summers. These were opportunities of a lifetime and gave me unbelievable experiences. Besides teaching, I enjoy traveling, playing and coaching sports (tennis, basketball, and golf), being outdoors, going to coffee shops, and spending time with family and friends.

I am genuinely looking forward to working with your child and excited to start this new journey with your student. I hope to inspire the love of learning in all the work I do, and I want to share that with your child.
