This Thursday the 21st is picture day. This is a free dress day you do not have to wear a uniform for pictures.

About Me
Welcome to Pre-K! My name is Alicia Henke and this will be my third year in this position at Athlos. I have been with Athlos Leadership Academy for 6 years as a Paraprofessional helping Kindergarten and Pre Kindergarten students. I received my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education Leadership/Management from Rasmussen University. I have 15 years of experience in the early childhood field teaching Pre-K and Toddlers. My husband Tony, and I have two daughters, Rylee (6 years old) and Tessa (5 years old). We also have a chocolate lab named Bailey. In my spare time, I love crafting, fishing, soccer, and going to our cabin!

Blankets and Undershirts
- I just wanted to let everyone know that Thursdays we will be sending home naptime blankets to be washed and returned for Monday! We are doing it this way because of our short day Fridays and we don't have a rest time!
- Now that we are having cooler temps please make sure if you are sending your child with a undershirt over their uniform that it needs to be yellow, gold, black, dark grey, light grey or white. If you have questions about this please reach out!
Reminders for the week :)
- Mrs. Shelby and I are sending home a little bag with fun things to do in the summer! Those will go home today 6/7 :)
- If you ordered a year book, I am going to put your child's name on the yearbook and send them home tomorrow.
- 6/7 (tomorrow) I will also be sending home blankets and nap mats with your child, so if you see them you do not need to send them back.
- Graduation ceremony is Thursday (6/8) at 10:00.
- 6/8 is also free dress day!

Just a reminder that we will be going to the park tomorrow! Please make sure your child has appropriate shoes and water bottle. I will also be providing a fruit snack for them as well!
Field Day Tomorrow !
Reminder that field day is tomorrow. This will be a free dress day! Please make sure to bring a water bottle for your student since we will be outside. :)
Field Trip
Tomorrow is our field trip! During the field trip we will be providing a snack and will eat when we get back to school tomorrow. If you are choosing a school lunch for tomorrow it will be a bagged lunch and we will be eating in our classroom. If you normally bring cold lunch feel free to still bring your lunchboxes to school.

Permission Slip-PreK-Crayola Experience
I am sending home permission slips today for our field trip to Crayola Experience! Please make sure to fill this out. The paper I am sending how will show you how to pay for the field trip. :)
