Good morning Garcia families!!

 

I am SO EXCITED to announce that our students will be having a class party on Friday, March 18th! Our students have been going above and beyond classroom expectations and we are going to celebrate our accomplishments! 

Friday is also Free dress/Hat day! Next week we are taking MCAs on Monday and Tuesday. Students will get as much time as they need to do their best work! I can't wait to see how much we have all grown! :)

LANGUAGE ARTS:

We are continuing to learn about text structures. This weeks focus will be on compare and contrast and problem and solution. Spelling test will be on Friday.

Small Groups:

This week we are preparing for our Language Arts MCAs next week. We have been working on test taking strategies to build our confidence in our reading abilities!

 

Science:

This week in science we are learning about magnets and what makes a magnet magnetic!

 

Math:

This week in my we are continuing Unit 5. We are taking a quick quiz on adding and subtracting fractions on Tuesday. We will be starting to learn about angles and geometry skills the remainder of the week.
