Hello Garcia Families! 

 

Welcome to Fourth Grade!!! I am so excited to embark on this adventure with you and your students!

 

This week we started curriculum here is what we are doing in the following subjects:

 

Language Arts:

We started reading the novel One day in the Prairie and we are learning how to take meaningful notes that benefit us. We also, started spelling this week here is our spelling list:

Math:

In math, we have been working on place value, expanded form, word form and standard form of a number, rounding and estimating. We had a quiz on Tuesday! Look for your students quiz when they get home today!

 

Science:

For science, we started learning about the water cycle!

 

Social studies:

In social studies, we are studying landform and parts of the United States.

 

Small Groups:

Small groups this week has been learning how to work alone on a task. Whether we are reading, writing or solving math problems.
