Hello 4^th grade families,

This will be the start of our 3^rd week and the students have begun to settle into their routines. We are still working on reviewing procedures and what we learned last year, but things are moving smoothly.

Language Arts: The students are reading independently and working on their writing every day, along with reviewing what it means to be a community of readers.

Math: We will spend the week reviewing division.

Social Studies: We will take our Chapter 1 test and begin Chapter 2 on America and its history.

Science: We will continue to learn about the different

*We will be taking the math FastBridge test on Tuesday, September 19 and the reading FastBridge test on Wednesday, September 20. We will take this test 3 times during the year. The results of this test will help me to know what each student needs in order to grow in math and reading.
