Dear Athlos Family,

It is with honor that I serve as your Principal of Athlos Leadership Academy during the 2024-2025 school year. I wish to extend a warm welcome to returning families and families joining the Athlos school community for the first time. I also want to thank you for your commitment to Athlos Leadership Academy. We are proud to be a pillar in the Brooklyn Park community; your support and partnership makes it possible. I look forward to working alongside you and your student/s this year.

Our faculty and staff are united and steadfast in our dedication to provide an exceptional education to every student. The foundation of our Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade educational program begins with specialized, research-based curriculum tied to the Minnesota state standards. Athlos is known for rigorous programming and instruction offered through the delivery of preparatory coursework for high school and beyond, leadership opportunities, health and physical education, and participation in community service projects. In order for students to engage and thrive, we learn about and plan for their strengths and interests, creating innovative and differentiated instruction.

Along with our commitment to academic achievement, we have exciting new endeavors ahead of us this year. Athlos has been selected into the inaugural year of the Minnesota Charter School Athletic Association (MCSAA). This is a thrilling time for us as we embrace new opportunities to incorporate physical health and wellness into our programming. We will provide quality athletic programming that allows students to participate in interscholastic athletics and prepares them to compete at a high school level. The league will encourage cooperation, sportsmanship, leadership, and community, aligning with Athlos’ approach to character development.

We share a vested interest in inspiring our students to excel both within their classroom and as a member of their local community. As students’ progress and meet high expectations in character, academics, leadership, and commitment to their community, let us celebrate their achievements together.
