Week of 12/4
Hello Families!
Here is the schedule for the week:
Language Arts: Week will finish up week 1 of Unit 3 and starting week 2. The skills we will focus on this week are main idea and details, problem/solution text structure, and using context clues to determine the meaning of words.
Math: We will be starting Unit 3, which focuses on fractions.
Social Studies: We will be starting Chapter 5, which focuses on the Northeast Region of the United States.
Science: We will continue with Topic 4, learning about Earth's features.
Reminders:
December 19: Winter Tree Parade
December 20-January 1: Winter Break
We are starting to collect items for our Winter Tree Parade! If you have any old or new holiday items you'd like to contribute to our classroom collection, please start sending them to school with your child. We will have a bin in the classroom where we will keep the items until the parade. Families will be invited to the parade this year!
