FYI - fostering independence helps your little one when they are away from you. Our cold season is upon us and we will be dressing in multiple layers for recess. Please have your child practice dressing and undressing in outside clothing.

Note: I started teaching the children to put their gloves/mittens inside of their hat and into their coat sleeve.

I also encourage the kids to pull their coats off from the sleeve

Book Fair TOMORROW

Good Afternoon, our class is scheduled to visit the book fair, tomorrow. If you would like your child to attend, please send funds for them to purchase something (such as: books, magazines, pencils, stickers). I have sent a zip-lock bag for monies in their Monday folder. I will send change and a receipt back in that bag.

If they do not have money, they will not go to the fair.

Again, we go outside for recess around 8:45 EVERYDAY (unless it is raining or temps fall below 0) - please send weather appropriate clothing so that your child is not cold.

Today, we said goodbye to one of our classmates who is moving away. In addition to myself and Ms. Emily, several friends were very sad to see her go.

- Book Fair October 30th - November 2nd. I will advise the EXACT date that our class will be attending when it is assigned. Tomorrow I will send a booklet with items that are for sale. You MUST send funds the day of our visit for your child to make purchases.

- Picture Retake Day is November 2nd

- Please sign up for Parent/teacher conferences. I would love to speak with all of you. If you are unable to come in, lets chat via zoom or phone. Conferences are November 9th & 10th

Good Afternoon,

Here is this week's newsletter. Folders are in their backpacks. Please empty and return.

Please remember your child's blankets and snacks. I do not have extra blankets to share during naptime and our room gets really chilly during "non-moving moments".

Tomorrow is Family Night - Bingo for Books 5:00 - 7:00 pm. Please make plans to attend, it is so much fun!

We do NOT have school Thursday or Friday.
