Welcome back.  I hope that you all had a great spring break!

 

Spelling:  railroad, moonlight, cowboy, bathroom, toothbrush, birthday, doorknob, seashell, snowball, starfish

 

Reading:  We will be beginning our Unit 7 in reading on Pioneers in Flight.  We will be working on the author's purpose and meaning for writing different stories.  Comparing and contrasting two topics on the same subject will also be done.  For language arts we will be talking about adjectives and adverbs, as well as compound words.

 

Math:  We will be finishing up Unit 7 by reviewing the things we have been talking about.  Line plots, measurement (yards and meters), adding and subtracting strategies, and 2 step problems.  We will take our Unit 7 Math at the end of the week.
