A note about upcoming MCA testing:

Per state requirements, students are unable to have access to their cell phones, personal devices, or wearable technology at any time during MCA or MTAS testing or during breaks from MCA or MTAS testing. In the event that a student has access to a cell phone, personal device, or wearable technology during testing, the student’s test is required to be invalidated, even if the student did not use the device. Wearable technology includes but is not limited to smart watches and fitness trackers.

On dates when your student is scheduled to take MCA or MTAS assessments, your student will check in their phone, device, and wearable technology with me on the morning of testing. I will collect the phone/device/wearable technology, put it in a labeled Ziploc bag and keep it in a locked cupboard until the end of testing for the day, at which time I will return the phone/device/wearable technology to your student.

If possible, I encourage students to leave their phones & wearable devices at home when we take our MCA tests.

MCA tests will be given after spring break, starting on April 4th.

Hi! I am so excited to be a part of the Athlos family. I am teaching 7th grade Life Science, and I love science in general! In my free time I like to be outside. I enjoy camping, backingpacking, and kayaking. Excited to teach your students all about biology!
