Good Morning! Today is Friday September 25th! HAPPY FRIDAY! We made it through our 3rd week of 2nd grade and we are doing so well!! I am so proud of everyone’s hard work! Keep it up! I can’t wait to see you at morning meeting at 8:00 this morning! Don’t forget there is fitness tasks as well as music today! You do not have to do the music tasks if you are group B in class! Warm-Up: Jambo Bwana - Practice catching the beat and the words to this song from Kenya!
Music Word of the Day: FORM - The music word of the day is FORM. Songs are made of different sections. The sections all-together make the song’s FORM.
Engine Engine Number 9 - This song has an AB form.
A section - Find two sounds you can use for the green and yellow dots. Practice playing your green and yellow sounds as we sing the song.
B section - Create a pattern with the 2-hit CHUGGA or 1-hit CHUG sounds.

If you cannot print, draw 8 boxes on a sheet of paper. Every box must have a CHUG or CHUGGA. Find one sound to practice your CHUG CHUGGA pattern with.
Try playing the A and B sections without stopping. Can you sing and play both sections? Can you play the sections without singing?
This song will take some practice. Remember to rewind and try again when we are playing together!
