Title: Art Intro

A Note from Your Teacher: Welcome to Athlos, artists! I am Ms. McCotter and I am so excited to create with you all this year!

Today, we’ll dive a bit into what our year together will look like (lots and lots of digital art!). After that, we’ll introduce the three classroom “understandings” and write down what an inclusive, safe, or respectful classroom looks, feels, or sounds like to you on a piece of scrap paper. After you have written a few examples, have fun with the new Autodesk Sketchbook app, which we will be creating with this year. Don’t worry about how it’ll look, just play around and see what kinds of things you can discover!

Don’t have your school-issued iPad yet? No worries! Write down a few things you would like to learn about in art this year.

Feel free to pause the video as needed and as always, you are more than welcome to reach out if you have any questions…or just want to say, “hi” J
