Title: Story Vessel Lesson Two

A Note from Your Teacher:

Hello again, Athlos artists, to another virtual art class! Each Friday, make sure to ask yourself, “did I see Ms. McCotter in-person this week?” If the answer is “no,” make sure to watch the art video for that current week!

Today, we are continuing to work on our story vessel projects. After reviewing your story idea from last week, ask yourself, “do I want to make a bowl, pitcher, vase, pot, or some other vessel?” Once you have decided and drawn what form your vessel will be, start decorating it with your story! You can use pictures, words, colors, and almost anything else to talk about your story. Don’t worry about it looking perfect right now; today we are just sketching.

If you have an Athlos iPad, watch the “Autodesk Sketchbook Tutorial” video after watching the regular lesson video and do your sketching with the program. If you do not yet have an Athlos iPad, just sketch your story vessel ideas using paper and pencil.

Feel free to pause the video as needed and as always, you are more than welcome to reach out if you have any questions…or just want to say, “hi” J
