Here is the Week at a Glance for this upcoming week. This week in Language Arts, we will begin setting and plot. In Math, we will be finishing up Unit 1 and begin reviewing for the Assessment. In Science, we will continue learning about the water cycle. We will learn about condensation and precipitation, do a cloud project and review. In Social Studies, we will start Chapter 2. We have spelling this week and the spelling list is on my Week at a Glance that is attached.

 

Reminders: We are implementing the uniform policy, please make sure your child are wearing their uniforms. We have fitness everyday so please make sure your child is wearing their tennis shoes.

Here is the Week at a Glance for this week. In Math, we will be continuing Unit 1. We will be focusing on adding, subtracting, and units of length. In Language Arts, we will be taking our Note Taking Quiz and begin character traits. In Social Studies, we will finish our first unit by reviewing and taking the Social Studies Test. In Science, we will continue to learn more about the water cycle. The Spelling List Week 2 is posted on my last slide of my Week at a Glance. We will take the test on Friday. Please spend sometime with your child practicing the words! 

 

Reminder: We have fitness everyday this year so please make sure your child is wearing tennis shoes. We are implementing our uniform policy this year.

Hello!

 

Here is the Peak at the Week for this upcoming week. In Math, we will continue Unit 1. This week we will learn how to round and estimate, and different strategies to solve number stories. In Language Arts, we will be starting a novel study. The book we will be using is "One Day on the Prairie" and students will be taking notes using Cornell Notes. In Social Studies, we will be finishing Chapter 1 and take the test later this week. We had a great first week in 4th Grade! We will continue to create a welcoming space and practicing our rules and expectations. 

 

Reminder: We have fitness everyday this year so please make sure your child is wearing tennis shoes to school. We are also implementing our uniform policy. If you do not have a uniform, wearing a white shirt and black pants works too!

Hello Fourth Grade Families!

 

Our 22-23 school year begins on Tuesday. This week we will be focusing on building relationships with one another, completing "get to know me" activities, going over rules and expectations, and getting a start on our curriculum. Attached is my Week at a Glance that I will post weekly for families to look at. We are implementing our uniform policy this year so please make sure your students are wearing their uniforms. If you do not have one, black pants and a white shirt works too! We will be having fitness everyday so students need to be wearing tennis shoes at school as well.
