REMINDER there is no school Monday, January 18th due to MLK Day.
A Group will be AT SCHOOL Tuesday, January 19th and will participate in online learning the rest of the week. 
B Group will be online learning Tuesday, January 19th and Friday, January 22nd. They will be AT SCHOOL Wednesday, January 20th and Thursday, January 21st. 
 
Please following the schedule closely as there are many changes due to going back HYBRID.

I hope you had a wonderful 2 week winter break. I can't wait to see you all at morning meeting tomorrow morning and hear about your break. Below is the distance learning schedule for the week.

Dear Students and Families,

Athlos Leadership Academy families are asked to complete the application for free and reduced lunch benefits. Despite meals being free through June 2021, it is still very important that all families fill out an application for meal benefits. Qualifying for educational benefits means a student(s) will continue to have access to free breakfast and lunch, as well as provide critical funding for our school.

Please complete the attached application. 

Applications can be returned in the following ways:

  • Schoology - Complete the form digitally using Notability.  Your student’s school iPad has this app and will allow you to write on a pdf.  Please see the attached directions to use Notability to submit the form through Schoology.  If your student is familiar with the app, we are sure he/she can help you as well!  We need a signature for the form to be complete. 
  • Fax – 763-315-0601
  • Email – [email protected]
  • Mail - 10100 Noble Parkway North, Brooklyn Park MN 55443
  • Drop Box – located outside of the school building

Applications must be completely filled out, signed, and dated in order to be processed. Feel free to call the front office at 763-777-8942 with any questions or if you need assistance with the form.

On the schedule you will be able to click the link to join the live lessons at the time listed. Also, your assignment names are listed on the schedule and you will find each assignment on Schoology. (Assignments will be posted AFTER each live lesson)
Remember to stay on track with the schedule so you don't fall behind in your schoolwork and end up with missing assignments.
You ALL have been doing a wonderful job so far with distance learning.

I did go in and fix the problem with Wednesday's assignment on Schoology. There is now a document with the assignment for them to download. Let me know if you have any questions about Schoology. 
 
Please go on and work on the assignments because starting November 30th we will be using Schoology daily.

Updates/Reminders

Tomorrow is pajama day for Group A students! Pajama day for Group B students will be on Thursday. Online kiddos feel free to participate and wear your pajamas during morning meeting tomorrow and Thursday morning (:
 
When you are working on Schoology make sure when you download an assignment to notability you are creating a new note every time. Otherwise it uploads with other assignments. Also, there are still a lot of kids who have not went on Schoology yet. Make sure you are going on EVERYDAY this week. It is good practice & there is an assignment posted daily.

I added a "Get to Know Me" Activity on Schoology this morning. You can find it in your homeroom under the folder labeled Extra. This is a fun activity for you to practice using schoology and notability. Don't forget to upload back to schoology when you are finished on notability.
