Hi! My Name is Ms. Lori Ronhovde (Ms. R)! I live in Coon Rapids, MN. I enjoy spending time with my 3 kids, their spouses, and my 4 grandkids. I also enjoy reading, watching sports, and relaxing on my patio. I have a Preschool, Elementary, and Middle School Bachelor of Science degree from St. Mary's University. I also have a STEM certification from St. Catherine's University. I will be your child’s 2nd Grade teacher for the 2026--2027 school year! This will be my 4th year teaching at Athlos Leadership Academy, however I have been in the classroom for over 25 years. I am looking forward to working with you and your student this year! Peak of the Week August 31-September 4

Welcome, 2nd Grade Parents/Guardians! 🌟

We are so excited to begin a wonderful school year together! Our first week will be all about getting to know one another, building our classroom community, and learning what it means to be a successful 2nd grade learner.

During our first week, we will focus on:

Learning and practicing classroom expectations
Building routines and procedures
Getting comfortable with our classroom and school routines
Enjoying fun, engaging activities in math and reading
Building relationships, teamwork, and a love of learning 📚➕✨

Snack Reminder: We will have a 10-minute snack time each day. Please make sure students bring a healthy snack to enjoy during this time. 🍎🥨
