Ms. Hauer - EL Coordinator & EL Teacher

Hello and welcome!

 

My name is Jeanine Hauer and I am the English Language Coordinator and Teacher at Athlos Leadership Academy for the 2025-2026 school year.

 

In 2005 I graduated with a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire. After studying, tutoring, and teaching in Ireland, Spain, and Albania, I completed a M.A. in teaching from Hamline University in St. Paul, MN in 2013.

 

Last year I moved to Brooklyn Park, MN with my husband, three children, and our dog Sam. We love the beautiful trails and parks here - and often enjoy walking and biking around the Coon Rapids Dam Regional Park. This past summer our family took an extensive trip to visit relatives in Lisbon, Portugal.

 

I am happy to begin my 14th year of teaching this year, and very much look forward to working with our amazing and culturally diverse language learning students at Athlos Leadership Academy.
