Accessing Savvas at Home

Good Evening 7th Grade Families,

There have been a lot of questions on completing missing online work that is assigned via Savvas, our textbooks for science. Attached below is the process for getting to Savvas at home if you have online access. Students are given time in class to do these assignments and can access the site through their iPads if there is any time during the school day.
  1. Go to the Athlos Leadership Academy homepage. https://www.athlosbrooklynpark.org/
  2. Under Staff at the top, click Staff Info.
  3. Click "Clever".
  4. You should be taken to a webpage that prompts to sign in with Google. If you are asked to identify your district, it is "Athlos Leadership Academy".
  5. For account, login with Google. The typical setup is "[email protected]" and the password is their student ID followed by "ala", all lower case.
  6. Clicking "Savvas EasyBridge" brings you to the landing page, and clicking "Minnesota Elevate Life Science" should bring you to the Savvas homepage wher you'll see all current materials. To see all previous and scheduled assignments, click "Classes" and then her assigned Life Science course. There is a "To-Do" tab and a "Completed" tab.
So far, the only online assignments I've given out and have put a grade to have been Videos and Interactivities. Students also have access to their textbook there, though I show the readings in class and take volunteers. I'll be using Savvas all year, and more types of assignments may get pushed out later in the year.

If you have further questions, please email me and I will get back to you at my earliest convenience.

Hello 7th grade families! I will be your student’s science teacher, and I’m excited to get to know you and your student at Athlos Leadership Academy this year! I was born and raised in Shakopee and attended the University of Wisconsin - River Falls for teaching and general science. This year in science, we are diving into how life works. Students will be exploring the smallest building blocks of life called cells, interactions between organisms, and how traits pass along and change over time. For questions throughout the year, you can contact me at [email protected].
