My Bio

Hello everyone. I am Mr. Fondren and I am the 8th grade Physical Science teacher. I’m originally from the great city and state of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and moved to MN when I was in the 5th grade. I graduated from Mounds View High School and eventually graduated from Augsburg College with a degree in Physics and minor in Philosophy. I have a Master’s degree in teaching from Saint Mary’s University. I am a huge fan of practically ALL sports but my favorites are basketball, football and combat. I grew up boxing and hold a 3rd degree black belt in karate and have been training in jiu jitsu and judo for 3+ years!

I’m super excited for this year. Not only will you learn the fundamental concepts in physics and chemistry, I will show you how they relate to real-world situations from how roller coaster work, to why we see color when things burn and even including “rizz!” Please feel free to reach out to me at [email protected] if you have any questions or concerns.
