Friday, September 16th: MN Sports Day (Free Dress Day)

 

Please talk with your student about the importance of being a good citizen at school. This includes our words and actions. As a class we have been and will continue to discuss this as well. 

 

This week in...

 

Math: We will be diving into our first unit which will involve looking at simple addition problems, comparing as well as representing numbers. 

 

ELA: We will be focusing on character traits this week in language arts. We will spend time discussing our school character traits such as self-control, initiative, etc. We will also be looking at book characters and what the look, feel, say, and do in a story to help better describe the character. 

 

Social Studies: This week will complete our hopes and dreams as well as what it looks like to be a Good Citizen!
