Here is a snapshot of our week ahead!

 

Math: We are just starting our new math unit-- unit 5, all about place value. 

Homework: We will have math homework every night this week. 

Language Arts: We will be starting a new unit that focuses a lot on our feelings and how we can use Athlos Character traits to handle those feelings well. We will find cause and effects in the stories we read this week.

JAN. 3: Valentine's Flower and Card Fundraiser- ends January 31st (your student received a flyer about this Today!) 

JAN. 16: No school- Martin Luther King Jr. Day

FEB. 6: No school- Parent Teacher Conferences

Make sure your student is reading and working on sight words for at least 20 minutes each night.
