Here is a snapshot of our week ahead!

Math: We will be continuing unit 5. We will be covering number charts, measuring, and place value this week. 

Language Arts: We will be reviewing beginning, middle and end. We will also be reviewing character and setting, and cause and effect. We will be having a comprehension test as well. 

Here are our spelling words for this week:

hill, late, let, big, bag, beg, bog, bug, mother, three

Grammar: We will be continuing to work on commas in dates and in sentence sequences. We will also continue to practice root words and suffixes.

Social Studies: We will be continuing our work with geography as we prepare for our location words map assessment.

Upcoming School events:

JAN. 3: Valentine's Flower and Card Fundraiser- ends January 31st (your student received a flyer about this on Friday) 

FEB. 6: No school- Parent Teacher Conferences

FEB. 20: No School- President's Day
