I hope everyone enjoyed their Monday break this week (Even with the rain).

We have been working really hard in class to learn the difference between the times that are good to have conversations with friends, and when it's best to listen to directions/new information. If  families at home could continue this conversation that would be greatly appreciated!

It was so great to see many of you at conferences! If you did not meet with me, there is a folder coming home with some notes and some student work from the last week or so. 

 

Math: different ways to make a number (Ex. 5+5 =10, but also 4 + 6=10). 

-following a rule to fill out a table/pattern

 

Reading: Descriptive paragraph about fall; build up from comments, to sentences, to paragraph and editing our paragraph in small groups before presenting it (i.e. speaking) to small groups
