This year in art, your student will be exploring everything art related. Our art adventures will include diving into the elements and principles of design; exploring multicultural perspectives movements and styles; and discovering a variety of mediums. Our goal is to create an all-inclusive art environment as we focus on developing our own personal passion for artistic creation.

Installation Piece: For DOT DAY (September 15th) The entire school will be creating a dot, we will discuss how everyone is an artist and how we can make a positive mark on the world. Students will be watching "The Dot" and then creating their own dot, we will create a dot mural in the hallway with everyone's unique mark.

Line, Color & Pattern: This lesson is a wonderful opportunity to introduce PreK and Kinders to the building blocks of art making: line and color.

PAINT and adding CONTRAST.
