After completing their nametags and artistic goals, students began work on a collaborative mural inspired by "The Dot," a book featuring young Vashti's artistic experimentation. Each student contributed one dot to this PreK-8th art piece covering the walls outside of the classroom. Young artists can create any imagery they'd please within their personal dot using the colors below:
-PreK and K will be coloring their dots using primary colors.
-1st and 2nd grade will be using warm or cool colors.
-3rd and 4th grade will be decorating their dots with complementary colors.
-Finally, 5th-8th grader artists will fill their dots using a group of analogous colors.
