Pandemic-EBT Benefits for Families

Athlos Families,

Students who qualify for free or reduced-price meals may be eligible for Pandemic-Electronic Benefit Transfer (P-EBT) to purchase food for days they are not in the school building.

To be considered, households must submit an application for free or reduced-price meals for the 2020-21 school year or be approved for Minnesota Family Investment Program (MFIP) or Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits.

Families who received P-EBT benefits last year are not automatically eligible; eligibility is based on the current school year. Benefits may be retroactive to September 2020, depending on when eligibility for free or reduced-price meals is determined.

IMPORTANT: Households that qualify for FREE OR REDUCED meals but have NOT yet submitted an Application for Educational Benefits for the 2020-21 school year, should do so immediately to qualify for the most benefits. In addition, households must have a current mailing address on file with the school in order to receive the P-EBT card in the mail.

Follow the link below to access the Application for Educational Benefits.

School Pass Pick Up Survey

Because parents/caregivers cannot enter the building, we are signing all parents/caregivers up for the School Pass program to make it easier for you to pick up your student(s).

School pass will let us know that your car is on the campus and by the time you get to the front of the building to pick up your student(s), they will be up front and ready to go!

If you do not sign up for the School Pass program, you will have a much longer wait in the afternoons to pick up your student(s). Even if your student rides the bus, please fill out this survey so that you are in the system in case of an emergency situation.

Thanks to all of you!

Jennifer Geraghty, Principal
