About Me

Welcome! I am happy to be working at Athlos Leadership Academy and I am excited to be teaching third grade again this year! We will be working hard on our foundational reading and math skills, working independently, and how to be helpful community members.
 
When I'm not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family. We have a son named Ben and a dog named Maddie. We love playing at the park and cooking! I graduated from Augustana University in Sioux Falls, SD and have worked in a variety of schools over the years. I love teaching and I can't wait to spend the year with you!

eLearning Day - Monday Jan 26

Students can complete another eLearning board, have it signed by an adult, and return it.

 

Alternatively, students can complete the following iXL skills:

Review Skills: Sight Words (57H) and Place Value (HUX)

Math: Multiplication and Division Review (VXX) and 2 Digit Multiplication (V9Q)

Reading: Future Tense (CSP) and Read about Food (VJM)

Friday - No School

Students can complete their eLearning board, have it signed by an adult and return it.
 
For additional practice, students can complete the following iXL skills from this week:
Review: Spelling Sight Words (6K6)
Math: Multiply (MS6)
Reading: Read about Animals (8KK)
 

eLearning Day

If there is a day where school closes, the attached file can be used for eLearning. Students also have their iXL accounts to log in and complete their teacher recommendations. If your child is staying home, iXL is a great way to help them stay caught up in the classroom.

Today is the end of the trimester, so you should be seeing a report card next week. There will be no homework or spelling this week, have a wonderful Fall Break!
